Brief summary

Margit Enggaard Poulsen is educated 1993 at 'The Academy Of Fine Art' in Odense. She has had different galleries in both Ribe and on Fanoe. But now she both lives and works in the same house in which she also runs a school of fine arts, ARTVÆRK. Two times a year, spring and autumn, she runs courses in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy. Most of her works are inspired by these two places, Fanoe and Italy.

The gallery was modernized in 2007 when Margit decided to move back to her small island, where she was born. A local architect helped her and designed the beautiful gallery room in the spirit of both old and modern Fanoe.

You find her works here. If you go through the sold paintings to the right you will see the changes of inspiration. Expressive and psychological motives. Anger, grief, religiousness, fables, wall art/ graffiti. Small ones (20 x 20), big ones (200 x 350) and one very big wall painting (300 x 750).

Six evenings every year the gallery is the place where writers come and reads aloud from their own works of literature and tells about their works and lives to an audience of different sizes.
